For better visibility for the operator the seat rotates up to 90 degrees from the original rear facing position. The John Deere 410 backhoe has an exclusive mini-joystick which allows the operator to work the loader and backhoe at the same time to increase productivity. Not only can you work faster with the joystick, but you can also work comfortably because the joystick is mounted on the armrest.
The transmission is a standard Powershift. The front axle uses limited-slip differential and the rear axle has a hydraulic-locking differential. The John Deere 410 backhoe has an improved loader lift for more powerful carrying work.

The loader bucket width is 86 inches with a breakout force of 10,210 pounds. The lift capacity to the full height is 7,340 pounds. Dump reach is 35.5 inches and dump clearance is 8 feet and 4 inches.
